The Federal Capital Territory is more than the seat of government. It is home to millions of people, historic communities, growing towns, farms, businesses, schools and families.
Its senator must understand its roots, speak for its present and prepare it for the future.
Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa's public life has been shaped by listening, mediation, community advocacy and engagement with institutions. His purpose is straightforward: representation that residents can see, reach and hold accountable.

The FCT's constitutional position leaves residents with weaker democratic representation than any state in the federation.
A fair FCT must protect its original inhabitants while ensuring that every lawful resident can belong, contribute and be represented.

Every resident—whether in the city centre, a satellite town or a rural community—deserves to live, work, travel and farm without fear.
Investment concentrated in the city centre has left satellite towns and rural communities behind on roads, water, health and schools.
The opportunities and infrastructure associated with the nation's capital must extend beyond the city centre to communities across all six area councils.
The FCT Contract
Every commitment should identify the action, the institution responsible, the senator's role, the timetable and the measure of progress.
FCT residents elect fewer representatives than citizens of any state, and local democratic structures are constrained by the territory's constitutional arrangement.
