    Broader implementation of the National Health Insurance framework for traders, farmers, artisans, informal-sector workers and vulnerable households.

  • Preventive health

    Safe water, sanitation, waterborne-disease prevention, mental-health awareness and access to counselling.

A senator does not manage primary healthcare centres, employ health workers or run hospitals. The instruments available are appropriation advocacy, legislative support, oversight, intergovernmental convening and constituency facilitation.
